UOW 4 Dummies is a concept created by Sarah Creecy (me), Samantha Casaol and Caitlyn Perrine in an attempt to create a fun, relatable and useful platform for the students at the University of Wollongong (UOW). The idea is centralised around creating content that will be displayed on YouTube and Instagram which will serve as a form of entertainment and guidance for students.
Although there is similar content already available by other UOW accounts we are aiming to take a more relatable and less formal approach. Our desire is ultimately to meet our audiences wants that are not being addressed as well as, combining it with basic information and motivation they need to guide them through university.
Some of our content ideas include: interviewing other students at UOW about a chosen weekly topic, memes, funny skits, relatable and motivational uni quotes, event countdowns and other interesting content.
Essentially, we hope to make our digital artefact helpful and engaging in order to maintain our audiences attention and interest.
